The developers have clearly taken a great deal of time to create a truly authentic Naruto experience and have captured the ambience of each region and unique area perfectly. One thing that stands out above all else within this title is the art style Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 was produced back in 2010 and despite this, if this were released in present days gaming landscape it would still look more than respectable. On occasion, these can sometimes feel forced to pair two characters off against one and other but you can forgive this in a pinch. The plot follows the narrative surrounding Naruto and Sasuke within the anime and stays true to the source material while keeping it feeling fresh with subtle changes and interesting subplots.
Plus, it offers more than enough exposition to give players all they need to follow the plot. Though, even if you aren’t a fan, the storyline is fun and engaging regardless.
Whilst the other half is focused on adventure and offering an authentic world and storyline that is not only canon to the anime but also fleshes out the story with new events and characters. Half of the title focuses on tight controls and balanced fighting mechanics. If anyone likes a challenge and feels like giving it a go, you have till next week before I get it refunded and just play 'em on PS3 emulator or something.Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is divided equally in its focus. And before you suggest to try contacting Bandai Namco's customer service, they don't support the game anymore. not that this helps since that's a general error code for "whelps, something's wrong with the software". The error code in Event Viewer is 0xc0000005.
although repairing vcredist made 3 work again so there's that. Ultimate Ninja Storm 1 and 2 just don't work. Reinstall, game cache verify, running in compatibility mode, checking regedit to try and find faulty dlls, repairing directx/.net/vcredist, adding msvcp120.dll, lowering the audio quality to 44khz, tweaking the performance in Radeon, updating my drivers, unplugging my controller, remapping the key bindings, changing to windowed mode and back via config.ini, shutting down Razer Synapse, Steam Overlay, Steam Cloud Saving, running in admin mode (both Steam and the game), disabling fullscreen optimization.
